    Rosemary's Baby  (1968)

I was looking at a website for the upoming horror movies and it showed that a director was going to make a remake of the 1978 horror film Rosemary's babby. I hope they really do update the film because the film can be put into a mdern twist b ut only if they actually keep the fear of birth control in the film. That was the ra when birth control was a big fear and a demonic baby w3ould be the result.  hope that we do get a piece of crap film that is full of gore but no substance at all. Ireally pray also the driector understands what a good horror movie has to offer. I think horror has gone down and the new cellphone generation is the only good thing right now. I also feel that this generation's lack of substance makes the generational lack of excitment a reason and a lack of intelligence and giving the audience all the answers is because we want everything spelled out for us. I hope we can go back to the old good eighties with Halloween and Nightmare on Elm Street.

  • Great Homage to the early films

    Dead Silence  (2007)

Dead Silence is a film that shows how motion and the lack of motion can create fear. Through the idea of using a ventriloquest, James Wan created a film that used the slow motion and sudden motion of the dolls and the evil ghost to frighten the audience. The audience sees tricks used in Hitchcock and the old film makers and it is still scary today. This film used setting to create am ambiance and a mood that was phonemenonal that if shocked me. I thought the actors were well cast and the plot was great. Also I don't usually find movies now g ood but I found this film to have a great twist which I won't tell but it really changes what we thougght we saw. It is the trick of what we see in the corner of our eye and how we usually just that let skip our mind but every deatil of setting and character affects the outcome of this great film.

    Grindhouse  (2007)

The film was a success because it did a good job playing off the seventies films. Quentin is a good director though I feel he should spread his wings more and do more diverse selection of films. I loved Kill Bill but hated Kill Bill 2. I felt Reservoir Dogs was a film that was edgy but not completely flat. It had a lot of good actors. I think Freddy Rodriguez was great in Planet Terror and I like Rose McGowan's performance. She looks great for her age. I felt that Bruce Willis and Narwan were great. The Film was quite fast moving.

  • A feel good film

    Step Up  (2006)

This film had a great feel to it and Channing Tatum was very good looking. I feel it could have had a better script.
