This one isn't too different from the themes in that one, except that Bauer's obsession with some kind of beauty and love found through death is now blatantly expressed in a main character that seems to be his own surrogate. Again, some interesting themes, but overall the pacing is a little boring. And after seeing these other films it feels a bit repetitive.
