Road to Singapore
I wanted to check out the Crosby/Hope road movies. I heard that this, the first one, isn't the best one. But I'm anal about watching series like this chronologically so I started here. Because of what I've heard, I may give the other ones a chance, but I just found the whole thing to be rather bland.
The whole thing seemed rather racist too, especially with the ceremonial dance scene.
Certainly the most amusing part of this movie is Jerry Colonna. But I'm not even sure if he's on screen for more than five minutes. This guy should have had his own starring role in something. I'll look forward to see if he's featured more in the subsequent "road" movies.
