Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters
If you are a fan of the TV show, it would be hard to not enjoy the movie. It's essentially an hour and a half long version of the show as you would probably expect. And also as I had expected, the movie is not quite as enjoyable as just watching the show because everything about the show was created to take advantage of the fact that each episode is only like eleven minutes long. The point of the show is that any plot only has that long before it must completely disintegrate. Usually a lot sooner, or else a plot hardly even develops at all.
The movie tries to create a plot, explaining the origins of the main characters. Of course they totally fool around with the plot and don't take it too seriously, nonetheless they do hold on to it. And I think trying to hold on to a plot that long with these characters can be a bit tiring. It's really only a quibble in comparison to the show which is so fantastic though.
The movie did bring me to tears from laughing several times though. The very beginning of the movie with the metal band junk food characters is the funniest thing in the movie, and probably one of the funniest things in any movie anywhere.
