Kozure Ôkami: Kowokashi udekashi tsukamatsuru (Lone Wolf and Cub: Sword of Vengeance)
I think I liked this movie for many reasons that I like Spaghetti Westerns and a lot of post-apocalyptic stories. The settings are sparse and dusty. None of the characters are extremely noble, most of them are exceedingly cruel. Society seems to be in chaos. Protagonists usually have no one else to depend on. And of course he is always badass, very clever, and a skilled killer.
I'm excited by the fact that there are six of these films, and I'm assuming it's all part of the same story and features the same filmmakers and actors. Basically I'm expecting the epic quality of a anime or a manga since that's what it's based on.
I don't have too much else to say right now. Maybe after I've finally made my way through the whole ordeal of films.
