Amadeus
I first saw this film in a middleschool music class, and really enjoyed it. I realize it plays games with the actual facts of Mozart's life, but I don't think it detracts from the film as a beautiful expression of the power of orchestral and operatic music, and at least an attemt at (though I think it ultimately fails) a portrayal of genius.
