Waste of good actors.
Under discussion:
The Scarlet Letter
(1995)
Terrible re-working of the Nathaniel Hawthorne novel. Heavy-handed on the self-congratulatory feminist thrust; changing the ending made it even lamer. I cringed for Gary Oldman and Robert Duvall, whose talents were wasted here.
