My more detailed thoughts are, well, detailed in the Fantasy group. Truthfully, I belong to several groups that could discuss this movie (the CGI group, the Disney group, etc.). I wanted to add that I think Pixar is such a great animation studio. The writing is always superb, and the attention to detail is always astonishing. A world peopled by people-like cars is more fun than I thought it would be.
My rating: a solid 9 out of 10 (which means not perfect but close and/or perfectly entertaining).
The test: will she be buying it? The answer: a wholehearted yes. First, I have to have a current Pixar collection, and I own all of the other ones. Second, this would totally withstand repeat viewing, if for no other reason than the oodles of cameos from Pixar characters past in the credit gags makes the credit gags one of the best of the series. Third, it's just a solidly good movie and loads of fun. Go see it.
