I just saw this movie this past weekend. I thought it was enchanting and also a little creepy. At first I kept thinking...why are these kids so easily persuaded? Lucy just goes off with a stranger then Edmond does...and the strangers are almost too intimate with the children. I was weirded out, but then the movie kept getting better and I thought less about the weirdness of the adult-child relationships.
It was enchanting. I think my favorite scene was the "ice on the river" scene. I disliked the beavers, but the witch was ok and the wolves were great. The music was good, but probably could have been better and the children were good actors. Lucy was definately an improvement from the old movie. If you are a fan of The Chronicles then you should definately watch it, if you have read the book or seen the old movie then you should also definately watch it, but I don't think everybody will appreciate it.
