Peter Bogdonovich and Tom Petty sittin' in a tree....
I was completely put-off on this movie by the previews/trailer and you would think that being it was directed by one the best modern directors (Ridley Scott) and starring one of the best modern actors (Russel Crowe) of our time that I would have seen it earlier.. So I was pleasantly enthralled with this movie.... for about the first 15 mins. All the sudden there is a shift in tone and then it seems there are striving for a Doris Day/Rock Hudson Romantic Comedy and it just turned out slightly off. So many mis-steps....
