Unnerving, Weird, Stupid, Scary, Etc. I don't know what it is but
Powder hasn't ever made its way into any sort of classification or description for me. I hated it, liked it, loved it; now it's something that is rather illusory. It's not particularly well made, cinematography isn't anything special, but the acting and comments on humanity that are alluded to by the script are something to be admired. For some reason it brings about an emotional state in me that only sporadic moments of deep introspective thought bring about. It needs to be seen if not to be a point of reference for future discussion.
