    Descent  (2007)

"Descent" was complex and very raw emotion! This is like the old rape/revenge Exploitation.  Out of 5, I would give it a four. Very much Along the lines of Gasper Noe's "Irreversible".

    Beyond the Rave  Production Year

I am no sure how many of you remember, "Hammer House of Horror"? It went off the market in the 80's! It was a legendary British film B- rated horror production company. Clasisc such as  "The Plague Of The Zombies" and "Quatermass And The Pit". Also they did a version of "Dracula" starring Christopher lee and Peter Cushing!

Well this is there new movie in like 27 years. Kinda questioning it? It looks more like the something Dimension studios would put out, and not a low budget, well crafted studio, like Hammer Films! Take a look and see what you think? http://www.hammerfilms.com/

I have friends, actually I have alot of friends from the HC scenes and just the late 70's and eightys punk scene! People that toured and gotten strung out or stayed strait edge, that just loved the music! Total anarchy!

Well this movie in particular was recomended by a good friend of mine and I personally kept seeing it pop up in alot of artists top 5 movies; that were invovled or around the punk scene in the last ten or 20 years! Trust me, its not one these hollywood extravaganzas. It's B- rated at its best and most underground.

Alot of familar faces, Ray winstone of the movie, "Departed" as the head of the Looters and then following up in the band are Paul Cook of the Sex Pistols and Steve Jones. Then the Clash's Paul Simonon. And as for the Stains you have a very young Diane Lane and Laura Dern. And throw into the Mix B rated Scream Queen Debbie Rochon as a groupie. A must see if your into punk rock music!

I really enjoyed this film. It had all the fucked up elements a movie needs. The really like dumb boyfriend whos like. "O.K. Honey", to pretty much what ever she says and does! Then on top of it, he's not toatally sure on his own sexual identy. Then some really twisted gore like scenes, to some minds comaparable to horror! Then to top off this lovely flick,  you have Rose McGowan, as a tweaker!  A movie I have never heard of, took a chance one night becasue it was on the instant play on netflix, and I very much enjoyed it!

  • Howdy Dowdy Meets Puragatory!

    Triloquist  (2007)

This is a movie, I wish they stop shelving then reshelving! If your a fan of Mark jones, the guy that brought you Leprechaun and Rumplestiltskin, in the mid 90's, then you should enjoy this! Its not on the same line at all. This is about a boy that looks like a distorted howdy dowdy whos mothers dies of an overdose, so hes left to the care of his mentally ill sister and his doll dummy. Theres times that its so funny becuase its so stupid! That whole 80s horror and mid 90's where the killing goes on, but in way its so stupid that its funny!  Must see if  your a fan of the puppet and doll genre!

  • Discovery channel meets Larry Clark!

This is probally one of the most twisted expermential films, I have seen in awhile. If you are not into watching actual surgerys and then have it entwined with sex, then this not for you.
