Bam! It's over

Just a lame attempt at another "Hostel" style movie...the acting was pretty poor, the story line made bad jumps, and half the movie seemed to be underwater, and then bam out of nowhere the movie came to it's peek and then just as quickly it was over. Pretty lame.

Going into it Farce of the Penguins I wasn't really sure what to expect. I knew from the trailer that it had a large cast of people making cameo's and it was a lot of voice over work, but wow...Fart jokes, bad stock footage, poor editing, a lack luster story line...everything that makes a horrible horrible movie, but at the end I still found myself somewhat amused and even more amazed at how far Bob Saget continues to reach out and just be dirty and funny. I'm not sure I could sit through it again, but I bet if I did I would find it more amusing.

Wooo, this is going to be so sweet...there's some really intersting pictures and sneek peeks floating around the net.

All in all this was a pretty quality flick. The cinematography was very impressive, but I was hoping for a little bit "more" from the story...a little more insight into how the world came got to the point of decline. But it was a great Sunday evening movie.

I haven't had a chance to catch this yet, but I thought Sin City was pretty sweet and I haven't heard a bad thing about 300 yet, so I'm hoping good things for it.

Good story, great charters and performers, writing was quality, new technology for motion capture...the extras on the DVD are pretty neat showing off how the whole thing was put together.

I think this series of films (Evil Dead, Evil Dead 2 and Army of Darkness) is one of the best sets to watch during the Halloween season.

Not only are they a bit creepy, but they have a fair amount of humor to them as well....like shooting a "night" scene on a cloudy day...sooo low budget, but so good at the same time.
