    The Strangers  (2008)

I'm not sure where to begin, this representation of a factual event is pointless. If you want to write a movie based on true events, then use the true events you have. However, as scripted in the beginning of the film, there are no stories or facts ever recorded. So instead lets make a drawn out low budget "horo-medy" about, one of 5,000 ideas of what could have happened. Of course under the influence of a hallucenigen, I may have really enjoyed these special effects, you know the flaming car, the perfectly handwritten letters on the windows, oh and lets not forget the ingenious masks they wore, wow thats an easy halloween costume for next year. The sub par acting distracted me from this true masterpiece, or maybe it was the film as a whole that distracted me from my life. At times it was hard to see because most of the film took place in the dark, Mr. bertino, feel free to apply to a film school and learn how to shoot film at night. Instead of an afternoon holding my girl close so she wouldnt be scared, we laughed along and made easy criticisms throughout. We even paused it for a phone call and contemplated going to a bookstore instead. I was impressed though, impressed that any studio would pay the money to have such a film produced. Do you really think at the end of these actors legacies, they'll look back and say, ya know that movie really helped push my career along. I have heard of a sequel in the future, and i just can't wait to see if it'll go straight to dvd. disappointed wouldn't cover my feelings, I'd say more of a "what the **** did I just watch" should do it. By all means see this movie for the un-honorable film it is.

All my love - The guy who wasted an hour of a half watching darkness.
