Christopher Nolan did a great job on this title, seeming how it quickly climbed it's way into my all-time favorite movies list. I watched this movie last year around summer time and still can not shake its brilliance. I was stunned by its backward-pace memory game. It's one of the only movies I've seen to this date that mastered the end-to beginning-to end order of events. This movie inspired me to get a tattoo, hell...tattoos and got me to write notes all over myself. The day after I saw this movie I jumped into the bathtub with sharpie written all over me with reminders for the day. Some mimicking the tattoos of Guy Pearce in
Memento. The horrific state of the main character astonished me and caused me to watch the entire movie jaw-dropped. It never even occured to me that the entire movie was in black-n-white, and that says something.
It is an amazing movie that I found to be unmatchable in its suspense. If you have the time I strongly recommend picking up this movie at your local blockbuster or video store. It will leave you wanting more. I am mesmerized, I fell in love again for the first time all over again. Memento is a "MUST SEE!"
