But to the kids who compete in it, it's the centre of their world. As well as being about the competition, the film is a really interesting look at what life is like for the few kids it focuses on - from Cyprus, Bulgaria, Belgium and Georgia. Their backgrounds are so different but they all have the same passion for singing, and none of them are snotty brats - all just love performing and form strong friendships with the other kids they're competing against.
