Once again Jack Sparrow (Johnny
Depp) captures the audience with his
unique abilities to create intriguing characters. The writers should be
given a standing ovation for this movie. Two movies in a row with
amazing screenwriters is very unusual.
For some reason the movie seemed a little over the top, which is the classic mistake of a sequel from
Jerry Bruckheimer studios.
The characters in this movie are all captivating in the sequel. Johnny
Depp still carries a major part in captivating the audience, but this
time you don't feel like he commanded the screen. Each actor/actress
really stepped it up in this movie to deliver great performances.
I don't want to give too much away for those who still have not seen the movie.
So I would recommend this movie for a light comedy/action flick for a hot summer day.
It will definitely make my library once it has released. I'm really
looking forward to the third movie with Keith Richards as the father of
Jack Sparrow! :o) That should be a hoot.
Cheers,
Ben
