Love's Brother is a beautiful treat. The film revolves around two brothers in a small rural town in '50s Australia. The brothers work hard to build a new life in this young country. In southern Italy, a young woman is about to travel 12,000 miles to escape the poverty of her tiny village and marry one of the brothers, based only on a letter and a photograph he has sent her. The question is - which brother?
The story revolves around the awkward love triangle between brothers Angelo and Gino and the lovely, young Rosetta.
I was mesmerized by this film. The directing is superb, the location gorgeous, the story sweet and the acting is fantastic. Unfortunately, it is not well known, probably because it is an Australian film. Do yourself a favor and rent this movie if you can locate it - you won't be sorry!
