I know I have some kind of unhealthy compulsion to watch whatever dreck SciFi shows...but come ON. This movie just sucked. I'll never get those 2 hours back.

If this movie had one redeeming factor, it's that the location was the subject of a Ghost Hunters investigation. So it was kind of cool to see the place featured in a movie.

Sadly, that amusement was only good for about 5 minutes. Why I stayed for the balance of the movie? I'm not a well man.

You should watch this movie at least once every Christmas season. It's totally worth the $5.00 you'll spend on it.

5 or 6 times throughout the movie, I found myself sitting there with this stupid grin on my face. Who knows how many times it happened when I didn't realize it. I probably looked like some kind of freak.

Anyway...I took my 12 and 14 year old, and it was one of those movies that you gush about together the entire way home. My pal brought along his 10 year old, however, and it was a little intense for him. I guess he was a bit rattled on the way home.

If you can see it on IMAX, then pay the extra couple bucks. Totally worth it.

Absolutely met my expectations...and then some!

OH...and there's no teaser at the end after the credits, so no need to hang around unless that's your thing.

Ok look...you don't open a can of Bud Light and hope that a Guinness is going to somehow pour out. You have to approach this movie the same way.

It's a great old monster-ey flick. Cave women in bikinis! Claymation beasties! Footage of spiders zoomed up until they look HUUUGE.

What's not to like?!

This movie was so close. For the first hour, I was dead sure I was going to add this to my collection. Then, it turned into your typical monster movie. Ah well.

Still...it's worth watching...at least once, anyway.

Couldn't make it

So understand this...I can make it through just about any sci-fi B movie out there. I mean frankenfish, time-traven dinosaur hunting, pretty much anything they can dredge up, I can justify watching for two hours.

This, movie, however, I just couldn't do it. I didn't make it...and that's saying something...

Ok, so, fine...I have a thing for submarine movies. I can't help it. It's what I do...so take this with a grain of salt.

I really dig this movie. You know what makes it interesting (aside from the great story, action and acting) is the fact that it's hard to know who the bad guy is.

I mean...I know what the writer / director wants me to think...but in reality, there's no black and white here...just lots of gray.

Totally worth watching.
