Not Exactly A Peckinpah Gem, But Better Than Some

Under discussion:

The Killer Elite  (1975)
While certainly not Peckinpah's best film, it's a nice little distraction, and James Caan and Robert Duvall have a great chemistry in the beginning, and also during Caan's physical therapy, he displays a great charisma as a leading man. I loved Burt Young's performance, especially the bomb under the car scene - he's a much funnier actor than I had previously given him credit for. The end of the film starts to get muddled and a bit laborious, but it ends pretty quickly, so I can't hate on it all that much. Worth a watch, I'd say.
