  • If Not For The Actors Themselves, This Would Not Be So Good

Gary Oldman, Ving Rhames and Brian Cox are all fine actors. What I want to know is: how did they all get talked into doing this film? The script was chock full of plot holes and cliche dialogue, and even though it is shot well with many beautiful locations...they don't really fit in well with the story. I was left thinking "how did they get here?" or "why did they come here?". There are some questionable character traits as well, like Rhames' arm (and later, a very strange scene of him dipping his "hand" into...well, I'm not sure what the hell he was doing). Gary Oldman is quoted as saying this is the worst film ever put to celluloid...I think he may be exaggerating a bit, but it's certainly not a great film.
