ONLY WATCH THE FIRST CROW FILM!!!
Here is a beautiful eulogy to a man who will always remain on the "what if" list. Brandon Lee shines in his breakout role, adding much needed depth and warmth to a story that dances the line between romantic and cheesy. The film is dark and depressing, and the music really helps the ambiance. I was a huge Brandon Lee fan, after first seeing him in "Showdown In Little Tokyo" a few years before, and I knew when I heard he was going to be in this film that he would become a huge star. Needless to say, I was devastated when I learned that he had died while making this film. And then a few years later, the beauty of this film was pissed on when the producers decided to make an absolutely pointless and terrible sequel. I can kind of see why James O'Barr has distanced himself from the series - it's a mockery of the comic it was based on. But this film will live on, despite it's horrendous sequels.
