In My Top 5 Of All Time
Ken Kesey is a fool - he's vowed to never see this film because it's so vastly different than his novel. I think that's a GOOD THING. And even he admitted to catching sight of a Jack Nicholson film on television one day that he'd never seen, and ended up liking it. When he found out it was HIS movie, he shut it off - the actions of a fool. This is PERFECT FILMMAKING. I can't even begin to explain what a great film this is. The acting, the story, the directing, Jack Nicholson...it's got it all. If you've never seen it, do yourself a favor and RENT IT RIGHT NOW. WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!?
