Awww...
Besides one viewing as a toddler, I do not recall ever watching this film. So I did (it was a free rental). In its time, it was a marvel of animation and surprisingly still holds up to today's computer-enhanced opuses. I felt the pacing of the film was a little slow, but the use of visuals rather than narration to move the story along was an inspired choice, and ideal for the idyllic nature of the film. Some people may be turned off to it for this very reason (as compared to, say, Monster House's or The Incredible's ADD-style tempo), but, as they say, different strokes for different folks.
