Ooh La La
Wow! Critically acclaimed French director Robert Bresson's allegorical tale of the life and death of a donkey and it's first keeper's own parallel life and death. The cinematic equivalent of a Dostoyevsky novel and, like a fine wine or a painting, requires many views to fully appreciate and understand it. This film is certainly not for everyone, as the pacing is very slow and every scene has an almost vaunted ambiguity about it. I like this type of film and I'm glad I had the chance to view it, which I will certainly do again sometime soon.
