    Hitman  (2007)

Yep.  Title pretty much says it all.  The movie has little plot.  If it were written as a story, I would get bored pretty quickly.  However, its saving grace is its action scenes, which were pretty damn kick-ass.  In addition, there were plenty of good-lookin' people in there although I couldn't really grasp Agent 47 as a character.  More background on him would have been nice... Well- more plot would have been nice although the violent scenes were fun.  Feels like a watered-down Bourne movie.

Pushing Daisies is one of the most charming series to come to television in quite some time.  It was highly anticipated by television viewers everywhere, and the first episode aired on Wednesday, October 3 did not disappoint.             Lee Pace stars as Ned, the “pie-maker,” in this comedy-drama.  Ned possesses the extraordinary gift of being able to restore the dead back to life with a single touch, but with another touch, the revived will go back to being dead forever.  The gift possesses the stipulation under which the revived can only live for sixty seconds without consequence until someone else nearby dies – an approximate exchange of a life for a life.  Ned uses this gift in order to question murder victims on their killers before collecting the monetary reward.            Finally after seasons after seasons of sex, love angst, and scandals comes a fresh new series that is delightful as it is witty.  Pushing Daisies has an almost fairy tale-like feel to it with its storybook simplicity: Boy possesses Gift.  Tragedy befalls Boy and his One True Love.  Boy reunites with Girl years later.  Boy revives Girl.  Boy and Girl cannot touch or else Girl would die.  Boy and Girl in love regardless.  Well, it is a relative simplicity.  But there is no dancing around the attraction and no games between the main characters that are found in nearly every other series floating in TV land.  The plot does not drag, but rather skips along merrily without feeling as if it was being fast-forwarded (Hello, Gilmore Girls).  Already endorsed by critics from TV Guide, Variety, and New York Magazine, Pushing Daisies is off to a wonderful start and can only get better.
