cross eyed and amazing....
watched this film in 1981 at my college. i saw it in two nights, with each night's viewing lasting 7 1/2 hours. all subtitles. at the end of the second night i was cross eyed and mumbling in German. it took time to process it all-but i would remember it as one of the most amazing film experiences i have ever had. akin to building a shrine...lots of hard work followed by profound enlightenment...a must EXPERIENCE for anyone who considers themselves a movie lover...
