Watched this one on a whim last night, possibly with high hopes thinking of Thunderbolt and Lightfoot a couple weeks back. Oh dear. Almost as bad a 'Bond spoof' as the Matt Helm or Charles Coburn Flynt movies and almost seems to take itself seriously, which might be the problem. An Albino boss who needs his blood replaced every so often, Jack Cassidy in a hilarious 'flaming queen' bad guy role, a bevy of beauties hopping in and out of Eastwood's bed, and Eastwood himself as a tough talking gritty... art professor? (and world's highest paid, but seemingly inept and amateurish assassin). On the plus side of the coin, the mountain climbing sequences were indeed interesting, and there were lots of beautiful Arizona desert scenic vistas (looks like John Ford's favorite setting, Monument Valley), and George Kennedy, while not especially believable as a 'mountain climber', added his usual touch of campy class.
