Marilyn Manson Has Made His First Disney Movie For Kids!!!!!
Tideland is by far one the most screwed up movies I have ever seen, and I have seen alot of screwed up movies in the past but this one definitely takes the cake. This movie reminding me of a very horrifying accident, you dont want to watch but you just cant take your eyes off of it. And the only reason I stayed interested in the movie was because I thought that it was going to make some kind of sense towards the end of the movie. And i felt so sorry for the poor little girl in this movie. Such a talented little actress and all I could keep thinking about is what kind of parents would let their child play a role in a sick and twisted movie like this. I dont want to give anything away for those who plan on watching this movie so I will stop with that. To sum it all up,If Marilyn Manson ever made a disney movie for kids, Tideland would definitely be it.

Terry Gilliam is racing ever so quickly into madness.... I could appreciate the film, but what bothered me about it was his cryptic introduction to it. Basically, after watching that movie, I'm to understand that Gilliam is a little girl living in a fantasy world to escape his reality?....um... yea...
Anyway, I thought "Pan's Labyrinth" was a much better representation of at least one of the concepts at play in the movie... a girl escaping her reality by creating a fantasy world.

Poor Jodelle Ferland. Her resume also includes the Stephen King TV series "Kingdom Hospital" and "Silent Hill" among other things. You know that girl's gotta have issues by now.
