Well needless to say I was very excited to see another Seth Rogen movie. I was a little skeptical about James Franco not knowing if he would be up to the task. After seeing this movie I have to say I was very dissapointed with the movie. After seeing movies like Superbad and Step Brother, this movie does not hold a candle to it. There were funny parts to the movie and I am not trying to take that away. As far as the comedy and humor provided in the previous movies mentioned, Pineapple Express does not compare. It seemed as if they were trying to hard to be funny instead of letting it come naturally. I have not seen Tropic Thunder yet but have heard good reviews on it. Hopefully it will be better than this movie. Alot of reviews have said that this movie is on the list of one of the funniest movies of all time, and im sorry to say I just did not see it. I'm sure we will be seeing more movies from David Gordon Green but sorry to say this one was not as great as everyone claims it is.
