    Fight Club  (1999)

Is one of the most memorable lines of this cracking good film. Ed Norton plays the narrator and the movie follows his journey of meeting a soap salesman Tyler Durden (played fantastically by Brad Pitt). The movie is brilliantly directed by David Fincher (Se7en, Panic Room, The Game, Alien 3). I can't really say anything else except see this film right away if you haven't already!!

  • Worthy Addition To The Franchise

This is a very worthy addition to the horror franchise that is The Exorcist. Now as a prequel the story focuses on the origin of Father Merrin ( one of the priests that exorcised Regan in the original) who is played brilliantly by Stellan Skarsgard. It takes place in Africa and the cinematography and direction are very good. The only qualm I have about this film is that I think there is way to much CGI. The original Exorcist was made in 1973 way before computer graphics where invented so the film makers had to do in camera effects which I find to be a lot more effective in the way of horror films. So I recommend seeing it but the CGI is way overdone.

    The Exorcist  (1973)

Back in 1999 The Exorcist was voted by entertainment weekly as the scariest film of all time. I have to say that even though it was made in 1973 it definitley lives up to that name. I was enthralled by every minute of this film. The beginning started off a bit slow, but because of that the film makers were able to develop the characters so well that when the horror does start you really feel for them. The horror is very memorable and visceral and leaves the viewer breathless. The direction and all of the performances are brilliant especially Linda Blair as the posessed child Regan. As a big horror fan I think it is safe to say that this is the king of all horror movies and for viewers that don't have a faint heart I will definitley recommend this classic!
