It’s almost a sort of sequel to Sleepless in Seattle, with the Hanks/Ryan combo and the whole romance angle. But while Sleepless in Seattle leaves some doubt as to whether the two may end up getting together (actually, that may have been an even cooler…if less sappy & romantic…ending for that movie), there is no doubt here. We know where it’s headed from the beginning. But it’s okay cause it’s a fun ride. The bookstore backdrop may be a reason this movie has extra juice with me, as I’m a bookworm and love bookstores.
