This Italian/Spanish co-production is a masterfully designed erotic mystery that uses the exotic locals to maximum effect. A rare and satisfying treat for gialli fans with an intricate plot, some truly pleasing-to-the-eye cinematography, and fine performances from the entire cast. Cut from the same mold as Umberto Lenzi’s A Quiet Place To Kill, though decidedly sleazier!
