    Rush  (1984)

Rush is a loner in this action packed tale of rebellion and hope for tomorrow. Long after the world has stopped growing wildlife, our hero roams the countryside generally avoiding and occasionally fighting barbaric rogues and a fascist military group wearing gas masks. He's pretty good at taking care of himself until the unstoppable and untouchable faction gets hold of him. Some being robots, he still manages to take several out before being overpowered and taken prisoner. It's here where the movie really kicks in as he is imprisoned and forced to work at a labor plantation ran by an evil thug named Yor played with some serious menace by Gordon Mitchell. In between proving himself with the local prisoners via knife fights, Rush finds time to attempt escapes, seduce the local good girl, get tortured, plant some vegetables and lead a rebellion to overthrow Yor. It's non-stop action for science fiction fans with tons of motorcycle chases through caves, gunfights, catfights, stunts and even more deadly mayhem! Many may recognize the rousing score by Francesco De Masi with tunes lifted from Escape From The Bronx. Italian screenwriter Tito (Jungle Holocaust) Carpi wrote while Tonino Ricci directs this unusual and extremely rare Post Nuke treasure. Make sure you seek out Rush completely uncut (domestic prints are cut and have altered credits).

    The Ravagers  (1979)

Richard Harris stars as Falk in this excellent post apocalyptic tale set in the not too distant future. Falk travels through the wastelands seeking some sort of meaning in his life, looking for some sort of hope, but after his love Miriam is killed he desires only to be left alone. Unfortunately, for a loner, he's pretty down on his luck. It seems that wherever he goes people want to follow him… and kill him. Most of all, the Ravagers, a roaming group of nihilistic murderers that want him more than anyone! It doesn't help that Falk killed the Ravager gang leader’s favorite boy toy! Along the way, Falk picks up Sergeant (Art Carney) (who mistakes him as his Major) and Faina (Humanoids From The Deep's Ann Turkel), a beautiful woman who sees more in Falk than he sees in himself. With the Ravagers closing in, Falk may find the salvation he is looking for when he runs into Brown (Woody Strode) and Rann (Ernest Borgnine). They seem to have some sort of plan aboard their giant tanker ship. With religious overtones and desolate locales, Ravagers turns one man's sorrowful journey into a powerful cautionary tale and a rousing epic adventure!

A classic Italian post-nuke action/adventure movie that’s finally available to you widescreen! Water has become the Earth’s most precious resource and men are willing to kill for control of it. A group of peaceful survivors exhaust their supply trying to find a way to make the Earth green again so a small yet heavily armed envoy sets out to find more before it’s too late. After being attacked by a gang of marauders, only Tommy, a young boy with a bionic arm, is left alive. He is forced to seek the help of Alien, a cutthroat opportunist who plans to keep the water for himself in order to become the richest man in the forbidden lands. Tommy has those who are on his side though; Trash is a beautiful and dangerous wasteland warrior and Papillon is an ex-astronaut with a talent for mechanical modification. It’ll take all their collective skills to stand up against Crazy Bull and his followers so they can survive long enough to save Tommy’s people! Very cool movie!
