Exciting and gory science fiction horror movie about a research team that lands on Titan and finds that an ancient creature has been freed from its containment after thousands of years by a rival team from Germany. All of the German team is dead except for the slightly deranged Hans ‘Rudy’ Hoffner and the beast is getting hungry again. With their ship damaged and no chance of help, they’ll have to find a way to survive before they fall victim to the mind controlling life-forms that the creature uses to manipulate its prey. There’s action, nudity, gore and tremendous atmosphere so we have no trouble recommending this underrated classic! NOTE: Malone filmed this in Panavision. The problem is that it has never before been made available in that correct ratio. Digital Conquest has managed to find a print that is partially letterboxed, about 1.85:1 (the opening scenes up through the titles are fully 2.35:1 as are the ending credits). It looks light years better than any other release version we have ever seen outside of theaters!
