Scanner Darkly is trippy, hilarious and gorgeous. The rotoscoping is meticulate and breathtaking. Casting is spot-on with the winning combination of Robert Downey Jr., Woody Harrelson and Keanu Reeves and it's nice to finally see Reeves animated. With its Philip K. Dick source material, Randian references and dark humor, this might be my favorite Linklater film, so far. It's definitely an improvement on "Waking Life."
