Oddly intense for a slow movie.
Babel takes you out of your comfort zone by using plausible real life situations all while taking you out of your box if you will. It brings to the light the difference in cultures around the globe, and what may seem commonplace to them, can be uncomfortable for us. While have watched movies with far more gore and violence, I was intense and almost fearing what might happen next in this movie. I think it could have been a better movie if it came more full cirlcle at the end connecting all of the different characters in the movie (it was more of a linear connection than a circular).
