I loved this.

To believe or not to believe - that is the question!

Our hero's brain and heart are pitted against each other in this enchanting love story, where he as to make a strong decision.

The movie is expertly and passionately directed by writer and director, Nat Christian. He knows and feels his material and entertainingly takes us along on his journey.

Actress Kim Oja is superb as "Katherine." She is a very fine actress and has a beautiful screen appeal.

Christian has a masculine sex appeal coupled with a dry sense of humor. As an actor, he is compelling to watch.

John Kassir is also fun to watch. This is an actor who has developed the chops having survived the business for so many years. Same is true about Taylor Negron, another pleasant surprise in the movie. It was with great joy to watch Joan Van Ark. She is sincere and effective. And Ed Asner is always very, very good.

The fabulous musical score is by Rossano Galante. And there is a song written by Daryl Orenge (lyrics by Nat Christian) that captures our heart. Cinematography is great (Michael Hardwick) as is the set design (Dolores Piazza) and SFX (Duane Condor).

I would have loved to also seen this on the big screen.

Charming moment for mehttp://www.spout.com/blogs/backandwhite/archive/2009/1/6/39176.aspxWed, 07 Jan 2009 03:04:44 GMTcdd0f780-13db-4d93-b0f4-ada579d02ae7:39176BackandWhite0http://www.spout.com/blogs/backandwhite/comments/39176.aspxhttp://www.spout.com/blogs/backandwhite/commentrss.aspx?PostID=39176
it was a charming period of time for me as I watched this movie.

CInema Paradiso should rank up there as on of the classics of all time.

I recommend.
