Doesn't wanna talk about the Wheelers anymore either. Terrific performances elevate lifeless characters, heavy handed direction & Thomas Newmans CHRIST ALMIGHTY overbearing score.

I can listen to Kurt Cobain talk all day. This movie would have worked better as a audio book. Just slapping some images of Aberdeen and Seattle over Kurt's voice a movie does not make.
Man, when I saw this trailer earlier this year, I was hoping it was going to be the best movie ever made. It looked like so much fun. Instead, it felt badly edited (was it made for TV??? it sure seems like in some places) and more of a Douglas Sirk tribute than a actual western. Weak.
Is it me, or does Gosling just pretend he's playing Donnie Darko with Jena Malone??? It's practically Gyllenhall's performance.
