When this movie came out, my brother made me watch it. I was around 6 or 7 at the time and it gave me nightmares from hell. I never really got the guts to try watching it again, but I do remember it was pretty twisted.

I like the idea, before they started talking about the sleeping/dreaming thing. To me, that killed it for me. And the end was a little too Willie Wonka for me. But it was expected out of Tom Cruise in my opinion.
But the movie did give a good vibe though at the begining I must say.

i had to watch this movie twice.
the first time, it was just a war movie to me.
the second time, it was a lot more deeper than a war movie.

and the second time,
the movie seemed a lot more scarier.

marlon brando was so intangible with his horror speech.

I think John Cameron Mitchell is a genius.

When I watched this movie, it sucked me in.
Like it made sex a less flesh feeling and more emotional,
That's the main reason I liked it.

And

After you watch the movie,
go stand in front of a mirror naked,
and you'll feel so much better about yourself.

At least I did.
