After a year has gone by I have finally seen Across the Universe the film director Julie Taymor takes the Beatles songs to a whole new level.  It is the best reinvented version of the Beatles songs.  Plus we finally see Bono in a new movie which his performence is awesome.  He plays a hippy that is out of this world plus he also sing in this movie.  The best song I though was my favorite was come together.  I will always love the original but this version is smoking.  I will definitly buy the soundtrack to this movie and I do recommand others to watch this movie as well and don't delay.

I loved this movie it took sci-fi to a whole new level.  I have never seen the original movie but have seen the cover.  We see Keanu Reeves play an alien who takes human form to take control of our world but finds hope in a destructive world.  His bodyguard elimates all threats that stand in their way but as the government takes action.  They seize the opportunity to capture the bodyguard robot to find away destroy it but fall drasticly.  As they experiment the bodyguard robot comes apart as a massive swarm eats everything in sight.  So Keanu Reeves character must find away to stop it before it is too late.  So he joins the sphere that is in New York central park as the chaos is finally neutrolized.  I totally recommand this movie to any Sci-fi fan out there.  Plus it is a must see movie to end the year.

    Transformers  (2007)

Michael Bay has out done himself this time.  The greatest 80's cartoon finally has come to the big screen.  It's not one of a cartoon relate movie like the other movies hollywood has made in recent years.  After 21 years since the original movie was in theaters the live action movie has take shape.  You have realistic cars transforming into robots in the real world.  Everyone I have know that has seen this movie loved it.  This movie feels more real than anyother movie that has brought fiction to life.  You have several original charactors from the original story with some new ones.  Peter Cullen the orignal voice actor for Optimus Prime has return to take on the new Optimus Prime in this movie.  Although all other voice actors in this movie are new.  My most favorite transformer in this movie is Barracade.  He has a darker but real attitude for a decepticon then the other decepticons.  Now we don't see much of Megatron in the movie but he wasn' t that much impressive.  The one Decepticon they should of had in the movie was Soundwave.   But Michael Bay didn't think anyone would take a transformer that could transformer from a cassette deck into full length robot mode for the real world.  He wanted the robots to look more realistic than just imaginary.

The choice of vehicles for this movie fit for the charactors.  Now are main star Bubblebee was a 1977 Camaro for the movie but in the original story he was a VW Bug but what teenager today would want a old school VW.   Next Iron Hide was a GMC truck but original was a japanese van not enough muscle for this movie.   Third Rachet was a hummer medic truck the right choice since his original mode was japanese ambulance van during the 80's cartoon and comics.   Now all the other transformers had the right choice of vehicles except Megatron.  Which Megatron was originally a gun during the 80's cartoon.   Now all in all this movie rocked but it could of been more than 2 hours long.   I would of like to of seen a 4 to 5 hour movie with more action between Megatron an Optimus.  Hopefully Transformers 2 will be alot better than this movie.

    The Big Trees  (1952)

This is one of Kirk Douglas early movies.  It talkes about a man whose trying to live on his own And he trys to claim what is his but ends up in fighting all that get in his way.  This movie is one of my all time classic movies.  This is a diffent movie for any Kirk Douglas fans.  Other great movies to watch would be In Harm's Way which also stars KirK Douglas & John Wayne.  And if anyone remembers Carol O' Conner who played Archer Bunker is also in that movie.

  • About Hilter's Last Three Years Of His Life

    Downfall  (2005)

I really loved this movie.  Although it's all in german there is english subtitle so you can follow along.  This movie really show what happen's with Hilter's last days on Earth.  This really in a must see movie but I don't recommend for ages under 18 for this movie is really intense.  Now the story begins with Hilter chosing his Secretary to take all of his important notes.  Now the man who plans Hilter.  You can't tell that he's not his clone.  This is must see movie for any War World II fan.  The war was brutal but to understand what Hilter did during the war you must watch this movie.  Hilter had a complex mind of what he wanted in this world.  What he did to innocent Jews & his own family and followers.  How could a man be so cruely to all he was around.
