If you are a member of this group, you love everything about the Super Bowl of movies, especially the movies themselves! You love to make predictions, guess at the politics, discuss and dissect who should have been nominated and who should have won...or, you're just an avid movie lover that likes to pay attention. Group Name: Movies we do not want to see - Try to convince us to see these movies!
Group Description: Want to be a member? Send me a message with a list of at least 5 movies that you do not want to see.

There are many movies that I do not want to see. I'm not sure if its right of me to decide never to see a movie without seeing it. You know...like when a kid says they hate mushrooms even though they admit never trying them. So maybe this is a good spot for people to display movies they don't think they want to see, and see if anyone can convince us to try them out.
Body: Guess it depends on the age. #1 film that scared me was Evil Dead but this was in 8th Grade. At a friends birthday part with all the lights out in mixed company. UGGGHHH...I want my mommy. <curling up in the fetal position> As a younger kid, Wizzard of Oz and the Incredible Hulk (yes I know it was a TV Show. but still scared me when I was around 5). How about Halloween III when the bugs came crawling out of the mouth of some person. UGGGH.
Body: Here is one of the best films for 2006. Bloody Head shots and gratuitous usage of "FUCK" a side. This film keeps you on the edge of your seat. Waiting to see who finds who first. No wait, who gets whacked next, or wait, was that a revenge killing or was he part of this charade too? The sex seen just seemed like the typical oh wait, a Rated R film cannot be R without one. Mostly this was due to character development between the two characters. My head is still reeling from the jump of I'm your paitent and now friend to lets jump in bed together even though your moving in with someone else. The film would have been better by just skipping this unrealistic love triangle. Leonardo DiCaprio put in a great performance. One of his best since "What's eating Gilbert Grape." I'm usually fond of Mark Wahberg's performances, but this one seems a little pushed from him and was more a supportive than primary role. Matt Damon has again put a performance that is on par with his Borne Identity. Alec Baldwin when will he stop making films? Other than Hunt for Red October, I haven't liked him. He's so whiney that it's no wonder he isn't married anymore. Martin Sheen was on par with the rest of the cast. That brings us to Jack. Good ole Jack Nicholson. Short of growing tired of his style, (Style similar to Sylvester Stallone but more palatable for the masses. Stallone is to the bad a$$ what Nicholson is to the crazy guy) he is still a force to be reckoned with. This is a typical movie you come to expect from Martin Scorsese. Anyways, back to this film. As with any movie, there are plot disturbances and imbalances that can be picked apart. But if you want a film that you can loose time in, be intrigued, and generally be entertained then go see this movie. Rather you wait for dvd or want the movie experience, it is a must see for those Crime Drama, Good Cop vs Bad Cop, and Mob film lovers.
His films have been more of a novelty and for those limited film buffs. Crumb being a documentary wouldn't receive much a do in the masses. Very few documentaries have done that. Bad Santa....Granted I haven't seen it, but I have no desire to. The previews never grabbed me. The story line doesn't grab me either. So is that a story issue or a director issue? If you cannot grab your audience is that the fault of the writer or the fault of the direct unable to convey the message of the writer? Interesting mix to say the least. Body:
I've got to agree that this is one of the best sci-fi shows of all time. It's so good that it pretty much transcends its genre. It is as much a political thriller and comment on military as it is a straight sci-fi adventure show. Even though I liked the original as a kid, the creators of the new show took its concept and made a much superior show. This show ( along with the greatest tv project of all time, The Wire ) is one of the most criminally unrewarded shows in recent memory. Come on , Emmy voters!!!
While the show is really good, it should not have been named Galactica. It rewrites too many key points of the the original. It's making it's own show. C'mon - Cylons are cyborgs. Starbuck as a woman, etc... I loved the original series.
