The East meets West doesn't seem a formula that would work at first glance, but audiences will no doubt be amazed at how natural it seems to have Asian mysticism and martial arts amidst gun play and horse chases in the wild, wild west. Be forewarned: the film does start out a bit slow and scattered, and requires a good ear to follow. I recommend turning on the English subtitles until your ear adapts to the unusual Western-Engrish accents. Stick with the film and I can almost guarantee the viewer will at least be entertained, if not downright engrossed in this clever mashup. Bonus: Quentin Tarantino makes many appearances through the film.
